scazbala86 Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 I am planning a new build and was wondering if the dominator gt 1866 4gb kit would work with the Asus Crosshair IV. I know you in another thread you said it was not recommended, as an AMD setup may not be able to reach 1866. I don't care if I cannot hit 1866, but I do care that newegg has deactivated all of the 4gb 1600 kits, and the 1866 kit is cheaper anyway. I would be happy to run it at 1600 or even 1333 if thats what it take to make it work. I guess my I am looking for a guarantee that it will work,even if its not necessarily at the rated speeds.
