CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Model CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 ; this set was confirmed by Corsair Ticket to be fully compatible with the listed ASUS P55/1156 MOBO.

I realize this kit is new, so I'd like to have some tips on configuration.

1600 MHz 9-9-9-24 {?*}T/N @ 1.5v

MOBO ASUS P7P55D i5-760 (2.75GHz -> OC CPU to 3.2GHz/BCLK = 160) ; 4 x DIMM, Max. 16 GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)*/1600/1333/1066 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory

MOBO link http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=RBA8CzWoopUlYRFZ

BIOS:

AI Overclocker Tuner -> D.O.C.P. {??}

DRAM OC Profile -> DDR3-1600MHz

--

DRAM Timing Control {enter}

DRAM CAS Latency -> 9

DRAM RAS to CAS -> 9

DRAM RAS to PRE -> 9

DRAM RAS ACT -> 24

--

DRAM Timing Mode -> ? {*I assume 2N}

--

DRAM Voltage -> 1.5v

IMC Voltage -> {???}

Questions:

1 ? -> Is the DRAM Timing Mode 2N/2T for this RAM?

2 ?? -> The D.O.C.P. needs to be set with a CPU of 2.66 or 2.8 GHz with 1600 MHz RAM, but should I use {Auto} if the CPU is OC 3.2GHz? I noticed the "Adjust BCLK...in the comments". See grid below.

3 ??? -> Since there are 4 sticks of low voltage DDR3 do I need to adjust the IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) Voltage?

4 -> What are your thoughts of XMP in the 4X4GB configuration?

Thanks! Hopefully this will help others. Yes, I searched the forum prior to posting - no full timing info on this set!

Just for the heck of it, lets assume X.M.P. fails...then what about the other (3) questions. It probably will help others.

I've found a couple of issues over time: 1. XMP is either great or awful {posting}, 2. OC the CPU XMP has a tendency to overpower the DRAM Voltage.

Thanks!
