CoolMATRIX666
I'm looking for some information I've just updated the case on my system, and decided to add some RGB to the case, bought 2x QL120 fans, then bought a commander pro hoping I could use it to get the RGB on the fans running. is the Lighting Node Hub necessary and where can I buy one on its own without buying more fans? DevBiker
The RGB Fan LED Hub is necessary with Commander Pro. A Lighting Node Core is an option but that would be separate from the CoPro. Usually corsair.com has them in stock. There is a 3rd party option, however, to put up to 2 fans directly in a CoPro or LNP. But the fan hub is the preferred (and more flexible) method. Check out the RGB FAQ linked in my signature.
Zotty
to add.... if you buy multi packs of the Fans you get the Lighting Node Core supplied with them,. this is everything you need to get the fans RGB working... this however would not give fan (speed/rpm) control.. to keep control in iCUE then thats where the Commander Pro would come in to play.. as said.. read the RGB faq buddy :) https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880
