Default Bricked FOBs that won't pair

I have two dongles that seem to be bricked due to attempts to get this working. I have tried to pair them both again but for both it just endlessly says pairing with a message saying to ensure that the USB wireless receiver is inserted. I can see devices show up in the device manager when I plug them in. However, for both dongles a mouse and keyboard show up when i plug them in (instead of just one or the other). There seems to be no way to revert this or repair it. I am at the end of my return window and need to know if they are repairable asap or will have to return and look elsewhere. Thanks.

Plug in your mouse with a USB cable. Then plugin your USB dongle that was chosen to be used for the multi-device (should only be 1). From settings, select the mouse, click "Initiate" for USB Wireless Receiver Pairing and it should pair together. Then after that, do the same for the keyboard. If you can see the dongle appear, its not bricked.

Hello James,

I have the same issue after trying to Connect the Harpoon and Virtuoso.
The device is now called Slipstream Multi-device but the software does not see it. I cannot PAIR it with any of the 2 devices.

Its like the dongle is now not compatible with the software.

Greetings..

FYI, i tried your suggestion. Doesn't work. Its stays on Pairing for an infinite amount of time.

Did you switch the headset to wireless mode while the cable was connected?

That is one of the combinations i tried.
When i switch it to Wireless, after i press Initiate Pairing. The headset ofc disconnects and the "Pairing screen" goes away, it then shows as if there is no Headset or Dongle connected.

The software iCUE itself doesn't recognize the dongle. It only sees the headset in USB mode.

The computer does see the dongle. just the software doesn't.

And when the headset is connected over USB, in iCUE the slipstream status is disabled.

When I do this it just says pairing and "Ensure that the USB wireless receiver is inserted into your system" indefinitely.

Jimox, PM me. I will give you a new build to try. Also, this tells me that your dongle was updated but not your devices.

Kind of a similar issue here, I had enabled slipstream but then sent my keyboard for rma because it would not charge anymore, I did not unpair before sending it.

On the slipstream beta version of iCue my old keyboard still shows up with no way so far to get rid of it.

On a mainstream version of iCue my mouse does not show up.

I am having a similar issue. Have you perhaps found a solution?

USB mode on the K57 works flawlessly. However iCue cannot see the dongle (in iCue under settings, the "Dongle Firmware v." line shows a "?").

I cannot update the k57's firmware as iCue says: "Plug in the USB wireless receiver to start the update".

I've tried plugging the receiver into other ports to no avail. Im running the latest iCue software, and I've updated Windows.

Is there a particular driver that i should try to remove and reinstall in device manager to get the FOB recognized again??
