Default M40: Cursor goes up when mouse is lifted?

Hi,

today my Corsair M40 came in the mail, and it's been running fine. The lights work, tracking is great, etc. The only issue I have is that whenever I lift up the mouse even a little bit, regardless of the direction lifted, my cursor still goes upwards. This ends up screwing up my aim in shooters and I can't seem to find a fix.

I've updated the firmware and noticed the problem from there.. is there a way to undo the firmware update? Thanks.

Have you tried looking at the settings in the software?
E.g. Lift Height.

I've fiddled with the 'Lift Height' settings and I don't see any difference against the highest and lowest heights. From my experience with Corsair's software, settings usually don't react unless CorsTra.exe is running, in which case it is.

Any other ideas? :/
