Mild H115i Issues

Hi all,

I'm having CPU overheating issues.

I've got a i7-6700k that's getting up to 88C whilst playing games and causing the PC to crash.

My H115i is showing no fan RPM in iCue but I can see that fans actually turning in the case. The pump RPM is showing 3000RPM on extreme profile.

I'm not if it's the lack of cooling that causing the issues but figure I need to start here. Each time I run games the iCue is showing the coolant getting up to 57C, this is about when the PC finally crashes and I manually restart the system.

This is my first PC troubleshooting ever so any help would be appreciated.

The coolant isn’t really moving, despite the positive pump speed. This is usually what happens with a blockage vs a dead pump. Unfortunately both are terminal. You can tap the hoses, the cpu block, take it out and shake it, and it might relieve the blockage temporarily. However, there is no place for this stuff to go and the problem will be back in short order.

Contact Corsair through the Ticket Support System above or start looking at replacement options.
