k55 rgb How to make a G key work like a normal key

I want to set up my g3 key to function just like the f9 key. When I set it up with the MR button to be f9, whenever I press g3 nothing happens but when I release g3 it does the macro of pressing and releasing f9. This is not how I want it to work, I want to be able to press and hold g3 and it functions as if I were pressing and holding f9. then when I release g3 it releases f9. basically, want to remap g3 to be f9. I downloaded the program and played around a bit with it but can't find how to just remap g keys to be other keys

never fails, complain about something and figure it out 2 seconds later, over looked the dropdown box to change it from macro to remaping
