For users who are experiencing this problem now, hold down "Windows Key" and "Winlock Key" simultaneously to reboot the keyboard without having to unplug the device.
What's the timeframe for release of FW 2.05 please - is it imminent?

Just updated Firmware to 2.05 & rather than fixing the problem, it's just introduced a new one!

Now when switching pc on at the mains, rather than the demo mode, keyboard remains lit red with white WASD keys & yellow Corsair logo until I switch it on & my custome lighting mode kicks in.

However as PC is often switched on at mains but not turned on, I want the keyboard lights to remain off until I turn PC on - like it used to be.

Very frustrating. Looks like it's time to downgrade firmware again.

Then save a blank lighting profile to the keyboard.

+1.

Behavior with 2.04:
- When booting, my color profile would be active, although with 100% light intensity. Sometime after Win7 load and before all boot activity finished, light intensity would drop to my 33% profile spec.
- Going to sleep / Waking up from sleep: my profile would be active.

Behavior with 2.05:
- When booting, keyboard is bright red with white WASD keys until sometime after Win7 load and before all boot activity finished, my profile kicks in.
- Going to sleep, keyboard reverts to the bright red. Then extinguishes upon sleep.

When you flash a new FW on the keyboard it resets the default profile stored on the onboard memory, you have to re-save the one you want after every FW update.

Nope - that wasn't the problem.

Contact Corsair support for prior firmware builds, and you can always RMA the keyboard through Corsair, with in the 2 year warranty period.

My bad - yes, that was the problem. Didn't look deep enough.

Problems with my STRAFE RGB:
- Whenever I plug the STRAFE in, the LED light are ALWAYS on and go through the demo lights even when the PC is turned off. Before when it was working normally, the STRAFE's light would only turn on once the CUE was on.
- None of the keys on the STRAFE work at all...At any time.
- Both WINDOWS and CUE do not recognize that the STRAFE is plugged in regardless of what I do. So it is pointless using the CUE as the "device" part in the CUE is grayed out.
- Problem is the same for ALL my PCs and Laptops at home...The same thing happens for all of them. So in my opinion the issue is definitely with the firmware.

Anyone else having the exact same problems?
I read this post and it seems like the issues vary.

I also read that firmware 2.05 is out but how can I update the firmware if CUE doesn't even recognize my STRAFE RGB Keyboard is plugged in?

HELP US CORSAIR TEAM!
