Default dead refurb Corsair Force Series 120 GB

OK so I was dumb enough to buy a refurb Corsair Force Series 120GB from NCIX.

Drive died in 7 months. Only warranty cover for 30 days.

Any recommendations before I chuck this thing and cut my loses? It's most likely a dead controller, as my PC will not recognize the drive anymore. It died in mid-use, as I was saving/working on my PC.

No flames for buying refurb pls. I know I am an idiot already.
