skypix
I'm having a related issue...I have an intermittent drive drop, i.e. my Force GT 240 drive, used only for data, disappears randomly from Windows. Sometimes it reappears...then disappears again. Sometimes it's up all day. So, talked with tech support (I've already RMA'd one identical 240 for this same problem, both were up to 1.3.3 firmware BTW) and they said secure erase with Parted Magic, which I did last night. I initialized and formatted the drive in Drive Management in Windows (7 Pro 64), it shows up again in Windows, so next step: I ran Corsair FieldUpdater_v1 as suggested by the techie and the sticky in the forum. The program opens, it takes 30 seconds to a minute searching for the Corsair drive, then comes back with...nothing. Blank white screen. No drives discovered at all. I redownloaded the updater. Same result. It's showing Version 1.1.0.100223. The drive is present in Windows Explorer. Did I miss a step? Am I supposed to be running updater from a bootable CD or flash drive? Appreciate any help, thanks

darkandedgy
I guess I'm left with no option but to return this product. I'm very disappointed in you, Corsair.
