CrystalCookie Posted January 21, 2020 Share Posted January 21, 2020 I have 6 new QL120 fans and wanted to use them and my 4 led strips... But I can only use 4 stips and 4 fans but not all my 6 fans. I use a fan hub and have one lighting node pro but I thought I could use 6 fans in every lighting node pro slot and i cant. DevBiker Posted January 21, 2020 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Unfortunately, the MCU of the LNP can only handle so many LEDs - this is the limit that you are running in to. Your options (that I can think of) are: 1) You can use the Lighting Node Core that come with the multipacks of QL fans. These will handle 6 fans. Put the strips on the LNP alone. 2) You can get a Commander Pro. This has a beefier MCU and can handle 2 channels of 6 LEDs. 3) 2 RGB Fan Splitters - you'd configure the channel for 4 fans but 2 of them would be split (and the fans duplicated).
