tomEZ
So here's the deal: I got 2 pieces of xms xpert 3200 512 MB (CMXP512-3200C2) RAM and an Abit AN8 Ultra motherboard. When I tried to run the rams with SPD settings (CL2.5), the system failed to boot or crushed with blue screen, I've tested them with Memtest86+ 3.2 and got errors both for each of the rams alone and with dual-channel setup. But here's the strange part: the system runs fine with CL2 (2-3-3-6) settings! Running the system with 2 noname CL3 rams is also stable. Could it be the error of the RAM, the motherboard or the CPU?
CMC_SAVAGE
But here's the strange part: the system runs fine with CL2 (2-3-3-6) settings! IMO, if the RAm works at those settings, great. If the RAM don't work at all, you have a problem. This is strange, but at least it's all good.
