Just wondering what temps everyone is getting with their Bulldog cases. I initially had trouble getting the water block on my Corsair H5 SF CPU Cooler to make good contact with the CPU. Didn't like the play with the bracket either. Anyway, at idle I'm around 34C or so, but it gets into the 50's and 60's when stressed. Are those temps reasonable or do I need to check my water block / CPU again?

Thats a link to a real good guide on CPU temps. Intel I5 and I7 can handle upwards of about 80C from what I've read. Your idle temp will also be affected by your ambient temperature in the room. 34C is pretty darn good if you ask me. Mines idling at 39C with an ambient temp of 24C and an Intel I5 6600K overclocked to 4.1 GHz |

After ensuring good contact with the CPU - which took a fair bit of trial and error let me tell you - I'm getting 29-31C idle and up to high 60s when gaming with ambient of 22c.
It was very noisy wwhen I didn't have it right - but now I'm very happy with the setup. In answering your original question, those temps are not a problem... |
