5277432 Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 I have a Force GT 120 GB, which I bought about 2 months ago. After a short while the disk disappeared from BIOS, and I managed to bring it back by changing the SATA-port. Now I've had a couple of run ins with problems with the disk disappearing again, and last night the computer crashed while running Starcraft II. However, after a re-start it ran 8 hours while I was sleeping. Tonight, it slowly crashed (one program after another slowly crashed), and when I re-started, the disk was gone from BIOS, again. I booted with another disk with Windows (which I setup the last time the disk disappeared), and after yet another re-start, the disk was once again back, and somehow booted up. Now, my question is, is this the kind of issue the 1.3 FW-update is for? Or should I RMA this one? EDIT: read my previous post, http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=518775#post518775 Does the FW-update recommendation still apply (never saw Yellowbeard's reply, so never did it)?
