Default HS40 Windows 10?

Hello,

Recently i bought the HS40 headset. It doenst seem to work under windows 10 very well. The mic is way to sensitive and everytime i play music, youtube whatever the ppl on the other side could also hear the audio. Is there in any way a fix for this? when i use the mic check function, i also hear what the other ppl were hearing.

What ive tried so far :

Reinstall Windows 10 (clean start)
installed all the latest drivers and bios for my mainboard (Asus Z79-Pro Gamer)
installed the latest corsair hs40 headset drivers.
Tried all usb ports on pc

tried changing a lot of settings in windows and the corsair control panel.

Either the mic is to sensitive or it doesnt hear me talk at all. and again always with the audio over the mic channel.

EDiT : It seems that the Noise cancelling function is not working, its also not configable in any kind.

Does maybe somebody have a solution or any kind of workaround?

Do you mean the others can hear your computer sounds?

If so, double check your application settings and make sure any option to share computer sounds and/or music is off.

In my case, its a very annoying buzzing sound.

I cant use the mic on Skype or any screen recording software.
People simply cant hear me because of all the noise/buzzing.

Ive tried all settings, switched off the mic boost etc but nothing seems to work

I cant return the product to the store because of hygene issues.

I would really like this to be fixed since Ive paid €51.99 for a product that isnt working properly.

Ive tried it on other computers as well and I kept having the same issues.

Put in support ticket with Corsair, it is likely the microphone may be faulty.
