Point to make is Microsoft released Win 8.1 RTM and Windows 8.1 Pro RTM on 9th September. (RTM: release to manufacturers.)

Wouldn't Corsair have been able to get their hands on RTM copies then, find out Link was broke and start working on a fix in September? (Not to mention Win 8.1 preview been out since April(?) so they could have maybe expected problems in final way back then.)

i agree, it's frustrating but i don't think there's much we can do except sit and wait. it's extremely annoying but ya... it's very hard to figure out from the outside if someone dropped the ball (which is possible), or we are just oversimplification a process that may be rather complex and we have no appreciation for it (also possible). Either way, however, there isn't anything we can do other than sit tight and wait for the update. At least the product works (though perhaps if the incompatibility was more catastrophic, it would have been a critical priority for them to fix asap)...

happy friday! :)

Taking longer that i ever thought it would... i wonder if this is even being worked on by corsair. Has there actually been an official confirmation by a Corsair rep?

Default fans and pumps not registering h100i.

for quite a while I have been trying to solve why my fans weren't showing up in link window. after a lot of trial and error I figured out that its the firmware. I used two programs, one to uninstall and remover traces of corsair link from registry. also uninstalled corsair usb drivers for link
I then used ccleaner to check registry. rebooted. when up and running. link booted and replied saying that the firmware needed to be updated. I let it dl and install, rebooted and this time it said that it had found new devices and needed to reboot. rebooted and my fans and pump were back.
