No option to change rail mode on AX1200i for overclocked 3090

Greetings,

I'm trying to get a Corsair AX1200i going. I'd mostly given up on it (and a 1600, for different reasons) but then I discovered that this forum is an extremely knowledgeable community so I thought I might trouble you for your time.

The problem: I need to enable single rail mode for the AX1200i. The reason is a 3090 that's modded and is pulling around 680-720W sustained, and probably a touch more in terms of transient power spikes.

The card is 100% stable at that draw, I have it running on an old and incredibly noisy (electrical noise) OCZ ZX, a beast from a decade or more ago. It can run furmark, looped 3dmark extreme, etc. overnight and I've been gaming on it without a crash or issue for several days.

The problem with the superior AX1200i is that I believe it's running in multirail mode and 700W is tripping it. However, when I go to iCue, the option to change rail mode just isn't there:

I've also tried older versions of Corsair Link, with the same result:

The magical rail select box is just missing.

I also tried on a different PC entirely (where in fact the above screenshots come from) and again, same result: the rail selector is simply not there.

I know it's a long shot but I'd really like to get this going if possible. I've not had much luck with Corsair and rail modes - in the past I had the same problem that GamersNexus ran into on the 1600i with a modded RTX Titan, where it would trip the OCP and they eventually discovered that the rail selector wasn't working properly (the episode where he visits Highcookie to mod his card). Although I had that problem too with the shunted Titan/1600, there was at least a rail selection box. This AX1200i just won't give one at all.

I appreciate that this is an esoteric problem of sorts - but looking through the threads here, this place is a fountain of esoteric PSU knowledge so I thought, why not roll the dice. Thanks for you time :sunglasse

But I will say this: There is no "single rail on/off" switch for the AX1200i.

 

You have to uncheck all of the "Enable OCP" boxes in the power tab.

I may have been a little confused by threads like this one, then: https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=191924 About 5 posts down C-Attack posts a screenshot of how iCue "should" look with an AX1200i, and the person in question (like myself) who started that thread didn't have that selection box. Are there perhaps different revisions of the AX1200i?
