Plex49
I am at a loss. I completed my build last week and I’m still not fully operational although I've been reading and watching dozens of articles to avoid begging for help... but I am now, here I am asking for your help. The below build is a bit of a Frankenstein, but it's me doing upgrades All the below Corsair products are powered and controlled by (or supposed to be) the Commander Pro and iCue So far, all I’ve been able to accomplish the following; Mouse, ram and a lighting node shows up in iCue Got all 5 fans to run Got 3 of the 5 fans to have RGB What I haven’t been able to accomplish is Get ComPro to even be seen in iCue Get the pump to function with ComPro, get the pump to have RGB and be seen in iCue 2a. Get sensors for pump to work RGB on other 2 fans to work Have ability to control fan speeds, ability to control pump speeds Have any enjoyment at all out of my creation I’ve tried the following; using different USB slots add additional lighting nodes and daisy chaining the two fans separately Uninstalling completely the iCue software and reinstalling. Drinking I've only succeeded at one of them. The CPU Cooler is the HydroX XD5 Water Pump/reservoir combo. I’m at a loss now, I've called out to support, but after mentioning my issues, I was told that because it involved the XD5 Water Pump, another specialist would contact me and it would take 1-2 business days. After 2 business days I sent an email and the response was a rep will be another 3-4 business days. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help shed some light on any of these issues or to tell me a way to test to help narrow down what’s going on here. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dTfQcq Edited February 14, 2020 by Plex49
Plex49
I forgot to mention, Hello! I'm new to the Corsair family and excited for what the future holds. I've recently read dozens upon dozens of forum post and you all sound like a fantastic and helpful group. It's a pleasure to beg from you.
usna92
I am assuming that your fans are connected to the CoPro? And the CoPro has SATA power because the fans are running. Are you able to see the Lighting Node Pro in iCue when you connect it's USB cable to computer? You have tried all the USB 2.0 connections to your motherboard? Does you computer see other USB 2.0 devices when connected to those headers? Do you have the latest chipset drivers for the motherboard? Just trying to diagnose what might be preventing the CoPro from being seen in the motherboard. After that, everything is a lot easier to resolve. =usna92
Plex49
I am assuming that your fans are connected to the CoPro? Yes And the CoPro has SATA power because the fans are running. Correct Are you able to see the Lighting Node Pro in iCue when you connect it's USB cable to computer? Yes You have tried all the USB 2.0 connections to your motherboard? Yes Does you computer see other USB 2.0 devices when connected to those headers? I don’t think I have any other devices to connect to even test this right now other than the node. The node shows up in iCue if I plug it directly into the mobo, or if I plug it into the ComPro. Do you have the latest chipset drivers for the motherboard? Yes Just trying to diagnose what might be preventing the CoPro from being seen in the motherboard. After that, everything is a lot easier to resolve. jamie1073
Do you have the ComPro connected to USB then the Lighting Node connected to the ComPro USB header? Or are both connected to the boards USB 2 headers?
Plex49
ComPro to USB (tried both 1&2) and node to ComPro
DevBiker
Are you using any power adapters? A molex to SATA adapter perhaps? Can you see the CoPro in USBDeView? Download USBDeView from https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html.
Plex49
Thanks for responding No adapters, everything is directly to the PSU. Here is my USBDeview results, I do not see CoPro listed, but the Node is, which is connected to the CoPro. https://ibb.co/J7C77qG
Plex49
I went and returned to Commander Pro and bought a new one. Now it shows up in iCue! I still can't get pump rgb to turn on nor the other fan rgb, but I have much more control
c-attack
Now that CUE can see the Commander Pro, you should be able to set up the XD5 pump. Go to "Lighting Setup" in the Commander Pro window (left side tab). The pump should be plugged into either Ch 1 or 2. Click that channel drop down menu and select Hydro X Series. In the next menu to the right, select the combination you are running (1 XD5 Pump/Res). If you ran the XD5 lighting wires to the LNP instead, these same choices will appear under the LNP Setup tab. Plex49
No luck, tried it in LED spot 1 & 2 and can't get any lights. I have fan 6 set for the pump too, but it only shows RPMs randomly, have no real controls. What are the chances of getting 2 bad Corsair accessories? DevBiker
Set the pump header on the CoPro to 4-pin rather than "Auto".
Adoxx
Hi there! I"m having a similar problem. CoPro installed and was working fine. Just after updating to the last iCue version things started to get messy. Only thing showing up is my RAM but wit a red triangle underneath it: I have 3 fans with LED connection wich used to work fine and a H100i V2 cooler. Not showing up. Tried everything listed above but nothing works either. I"m using a Asus Z370-F mobo which recognizes my RAM and is able to control it.. Might be software related since it worked before last update?
