4le
I installed new relise but in "configure" there is no fans (only G100GTX fan and H100GTX Pump). Where is the mobo fans? Instead in "home" I can see the mobo fans (to tell the true I lost fan#4) Is it possible to add all the mobo fans in "configure" (also fan#4 totaly disappear)? TeaTimeJ
I also have no fans under configure, not that I miss them as I am running AI Suite (meaning I run an ASUS Board as well). I also lost fan 4 :) Must be a thing with ASUS boards.
lukacsmw
I too do not show fans connected to my Mobo or GPUs in my "Configure" tab. They show up fine on the Home Screen though - which I can tell I'll be using about 95% of the time so it's not a big deal to me. Apparently the only fans that are shown in the "Configure" tab are my Commander Mini connected fans. I am also running an Asus Z97 board (pro wifi)

red-ray
No, it's not just ASUS I also get this issue on my ASRock X79 Champion. I suspect this happens on ALL motherboards and there will need to be a new CL4 release to fix this. If anyone has their motherboard or GPU fans available on Configure please post and tell us. A. My RM PSUs are not available on [Configure] B. My Motherboard Fans are not available on [Configure] C. My GTX 980 Fans are not available on [Configure] D. The Total % is not available on [Configure]
nowcontrol
Yep, not a great start to have the GPU and case fan tiles missing in the config screen while they are clearly detected and can be seen on the home screen. But it's not the end of world. ;): YET! I really do like the new look and the custom profiles stick and work better now.
Mark_K
I actually like the old widgets with the round widgets for fans and the dial.
nowcontrol
the custom profiles stick and work better now. Scrap that comment........ After waking my PC from hibernation c-link was frozen and i had close and restart the program and now all my profiles have reverted to default settings. RUBBISH!! :sigh!:

You can cook some eggs... :D: By the way my home screen is also missing of 2 caviar green... No it's not, it's CL4 still incorrectly reporting Corsair Neutron XT SSDs, see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=805421. Which controller are the 2 x caviar green connected to? Some controllers don't allow the temperature (SMART data) to be read.
Associated
This CL4 is a real disappointment... even the PSU monitoring is worse than before, before it remembered the max consumption value now is just a graph and curent stats.
4le
Which controller are the 2 x caviar green connected to? Some controllers don't allow the temperature (SMART data) to be read. Two caviar are connected to sata port of Z87 in raid mode. I'm sure isn't a controller problem because my sistem is dual boot (w7 and w10). I installed cl4 in both OS and in w7 there are the temperature value. I made screen shot of w10, the worst situation.... the fans are missing in both OS
red-ray
Two caviar are connected to sata port of Z87 in raid mode. I'm sure isn't a controller problem None of my CSMI RAID or USB attached disks are reported. The CMSI protocol is well defined and for CL4 to fail to support it is rather poor. I have been waiting 14 months for this to be fixed. I too expect your system is fine and to confirm this you could run SIV which should report them. On w7 there are the temperature value. This does not make sense. CL4 fails to report my CSMI RAID disks on both W7 and W10. If you post the SIV Menu->Devices->CSMI RAID + Menu->Devices->SMART screen shots from both systems I could comment further. Given you have CL4 see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=833862. The silly names on W10 are down to a bug in the Intel RST driver which is fixed in the later version I have on W7. 4le
This does not make sense. I'm afraid you're right; the situation is a little bit complicated. When I use w7 i put a w7 hdd in internal hdd mobile rack; when I run w10 the mobile rack is off (or empty). In cl4 w7 home screen I can see the w10 ssd and w7 hdd but, for this one, there are two temperature values: I belive they are raid value, but I'm wrong because the code of hdd is the one of w7 hdd Anyway there is a difference between cl4w7 and cl4w10: only in w10 there is fan#3. Fan#4 is missing in both os. http://s2.postimg.org/mrqcn84qh/image.png http://s23.postimg.org/xu2o8dqyz/1_Copia.png http://s16.postimg.org/ru25czoqt/image.png

I guess the CL4 screens are the W7 system and feel that CL4 Home should display the Windows + CL version information so I don't have to guess. I expect the reason the ST3250410AS reports two temperatures is the same as why my WDC WD1600JS-00NCB1 does. A CL4 bug is my view as I feel reporting > 1 temperature for one drive is confusing and if a drive reports > 1 CL should just report the highest, but if CL4 does report > 1 on the Config screen it should be one box with all the temperatures in it. Press the [sATA600] button to see the SMART data and check if there are two temperatures. To comment on the fans I would need to see both W7 + W10 screen shots each showing both the CL Home page + the SIV Menu->Tools->Sensor Debug panel (one screen shot with both programs in it). I don't need the CL4 Config. I wonder if Fan #4 is EC connected, post Menu->Hardware->H/W Detail->I/O Embedded and see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=805421. It would be best if you used the SIV 5.07 Beta, do Menu->File->Download->SIV Beta to get it.

There are at least 4 drive (in some screen they are 5 but I connected a backup usb drive, does not consider this). red-ray
All the disks are as expected. Basically CL4 does not report CSMI RAID or USB attached disks and until it does there is noting you can do. CL4 reporting the same temperature twice is down to it being in that SMART data twice. It doing this is confusing and I feel it should be changed. SIV reports all five fans, so they are not EC connected. Forget about EC, remove those 2 screen shots. On W10 SIV reports 5 fans and CL4 reports 3, so for some reason CL4 does not report 2 of them This is a bug in CL4 which you should ask Corsair to fix. CL4 on W7 will be the same we don't need to consider CL4 and W7. On W7 SIV reports 4 spinning fans and System 2 is 0 RPM. Are you sure the fan is still connected? The only likely situation in which SIV will report the fan on W10 and not report it on W7 is if it's been unplugged! Check that fan is still connected to the MB header and spinning. I can think of scenarios when a fan could be connected, spinning and 0 RPM be reported such as another program making incorrect requests to the Nuvoton NCT6791D fan controller. Do you have ANY program on W7 that could possibly do this? Do any other programs report temperatures, fan speeds or voltages? What does Menu->Help->SMBus Locks report?
