tmh666 Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 Well my warranty has run out so there isnt really anything to lose by upgrading (other than an early demise of my Corsair one Pro). I have a 2017 Corsair one pro with a 7700K CPU and GTX1080. Idon't have the beefy power supply so no point in looking for a watercooled 1080 Ti. I already have maxed out my RAM and replaced the hard drives with two 1TB samsung 860 SSDs. That pretty much leaves the CPU Is there any reason why I could not put a 9700K in there? and would it be worth it. Machine runs perfectly and keeps good temperaturre so it might be best to just let it run as is, any thoughts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
