Dell XPS 710 and QUAD2X4096-8500C5DF

I recently upgraded my systems from 4 CM2X1024-6400C4D to using the QUAD2X4096-8500C5DF. My EPP settings are enabled and I'm running the most recent BIOS version (1.4.1). After the installation of the new memory, I went to BIOS to check to see if the new settings were updated, and I'm still showing 4-4-4-12 at 800Mhz. Am I dealing with bad memory? I'm suppose to get 5-5-5-15 at 1066Mhz. Dell tech support won't help because installing this memory technically breaks their warrantly, even though they support EPP memory.

The only BIOS settings you can change is Processor speed and to enable/disable SLI memory. The machine originally at PC-5300 Memory in there. When I turn SLI and added the Dominator PC-6400 memory, the system registered the correct timings. Somehow, if the speed is set by default, it would register. Otherwise I can't change them.
