stupipe
I am new to the world of gaming and PC's and I was just wondering how do I read CPU temps? Am I worried about max, current, average? And what program would you recommend? Best regards, Stu
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted August 23, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 23, 2017 The Corsair One includes CORSAIR LINK software which displays the system temps. You shouldn't need to worry about max, current, or average temps on a Corsair One system.
Aetherios
You can use HWMonitor, which provides temp readouts on all components. I believe Corsair Link doesn't show MOBO or nvme temps yet. It's a pretty lightweight program, widely used by bemchmarkers. Corsair Link does have the advantage of being made my our Cat Lord Dustin.
JanusZeal
Speaking of which, wish MSI Live Update had a checkbox to not start at startup. Also maybe whoever made that program can update it to request that the service related to it in services.msc start when opening the program. As of now even when I set to manual it doesn't start with the program, it has to be left on automatic or started manually be the user.
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted August 28, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 28, 2017 Link shows NVMe temperatures. The older version displayed motherboard temperatures but I actually had that functionality removed as it wasn't useful and caused more problems than it solved. It would display four motherboard temperatures, one of which might periodically bug out and list 125C. The current version of Link lists all the information most users will need.
