Default Acrylic tubing prep question

I'm getting conflicting information on the proper way to prep the Corsair hard tube endings. Is it enough to just sand and smooth the ends after cutting? Or is a chamfer (sloping edge) necessary?

Hi Buddy,

Smooth with no sharp edges is what you are after.. its mostly about not damaging the Orings as the tubing goes into the fittings.....

Thanks. Is it possible to buy replacements for the inner o-rings? I don’t see replacements on the CORSAIR site. Can they be purchased from a Bitspower reseller?

at a guess.... I assume Bitspower rings would fit but don't hold me to it.
