Fudozzo
Good morning everyone. I'm planning to build my new gaming PC, and i've choose a small factor the 380T is the best around, but a question is bugging me. Looking on the specs it says "2 expansion slots", but many cards, like the Zotac AMP! or the Gainward Phantom series uses a 2.5 slot cooler. The qeustion is, is there enough space in tre 380T to fit these cards? I dont have to use directly 3 slots, so it's possible that there is enough space between the profile of a standard card and the chassis to house a thicker card. Thank you for your suggestions! Alessandro.
htgk11
I am having the same issue.... I have a 380t and i'm planning to upgrade my graphics card to ZOTAC GTX 980 AMP Omega. But i'm not sure if the card will fit with 2 Slots. This the card i'm talking about. http://www.zotac.com/in/products/graphics-cards/geforce-900-series/product/geforce-900-series/detail/geforce-gtx-980-amp-omega-edition-1.html
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted November 24, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 24, 2014 I hesitate to make any guarantees because I don't have the cards on hand, but it *looks* like they should fit. *Should* fit.
vsg
Reference PCB height 2.5 slotters (~5cm total thickness of the card) should be ok. Anything higher and the side panel that is angled inwards will interfere.
