"CMW16GX4M2A2666C16W" On monday i decided to buy an other one on a famous french website (ldlc-pro to not mention it) and the new kit is simply not working. The POST is blocking on the ram check (orange LED) Motherboard is a ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING The only difference between each other is the version tag, the oldest one is v3.31 and the newest one is v5.32. JonKrmr Posted April 3, 2020 Share Posted April 3, 2020 Not recommended to run different kits with different version numbers. Most likely the memory ICs used on the two different version kits are different and not playing nice together. The only way this works is if you get the same model AND same version revision kits and even then you might still run into stability issues. Memory kits have all the modules in them tested to insure they work together in that kit. No guarantee two separate kits even if same version will work together.
