waterblock msi rtx 3080 gaming x trio

hello, i just received my msi rtx 3080 gaming x trio and saw that on the site the gpu rtx 3080 FE and msi ventus waterblock is available. anyone knows if the gaming x trio model will be released soon or if it is compatible with the ventus model?

otherwise anyone knows if a model for the msi rtx 3080 gaming x trio will come out? thank you

if i install cooling for my processor, will i be able to install cooling for my rtx 3080 the day you get one for my card without changing the whole system?

It depends. Are you going to cool the GPU as a second, independent loop? Then no. If you want a single loop, then you'll need to drain the loop and add the GPU into the loop. That will mean redoing tube runs, etc. Not quite as involved as a first time install but not trivial either.

MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio won't work with the GPU water block made for MSI RTX 3080 Ventus.

Unfortunately, there are no plans to support the Gaming X Trio with a dedicated Hydro X GPU water block mode.

 

Any updates on this 4 months later? Will Corsair eventually release a waterblock supporting the MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio? I don’t want to get an EK waterblock that is not compatible with my Hydro X loop. Thank you in advance.

I'm curious to know if Corsair's stance has changed since also. I don't like EK products and Ive been on a waiting list for an Alphacool block since January. Would have preferred to have had a Corsair block on my 3090 Gaming X Trio.
