Hello! Good Year! Keycaps in Italian!

Hello corsair forum and happy new year to everyone ^-^

I'm here to ask about keycaps as the topic name suggests.

I recently bought on amazon a K95 Rgb for only 126 euro, da hell promotion!

But unfortunately is has a standard DE layout that would bother me, and i've been searching all around for an italian keycaps layout without any success!

So i'm asking, do you know any italian reseller? Or does the corsair support can help me somehow finding those keycaps?

Would be very appreciated!

Thanks for reading and helping me out!

Corsair do not sell keycap sets.

You will probably have to find someone that makes custom keycaps or buy a Cherry MX set somewhere else.

Note: If i recall correctly, One of the keys (space bar i think) is a custom size.

So you mean that is impossible to find original keycaps for the layout you want? Is that a joke? :3

Corsair have different part numbers for each region due to the different layouts used around the world.

E.g. An Italian layout K95 RGB keyboard will be "CH-9000220-IT" instead of "CH-9000220-DE".

It may be best to contact Corsair Henry or customer service and see what they can do.

The part number of the product i bought is this one: CH-9000220-DE

So talking about that, instead of buying a full complete custom layout, there is no possibility to have directly from corsair the keycaps requested?

I would switch the numbers over the normal QWERTZ caps and the symbols right to them. It would make the keyboard become layout ITA.

It's just that i can't find anything over the web.

Hi

Actually all the symbols over the numbers are different, the Y key changes position with Z, and all symbols near Enter key are different too.

It would be 21 keycaps that needs to be exchanged.

Also i don't know if the keycaps with Names on them are actually in german, or not.

Here the pic of wich caps i would need:

(This is a US layout, ins DE layout the shift key is half size, near it there are those buttons, < >, and Z and Y are inverted. All other buttons are just randomly deployed for me, like in this layout.)

As i said before the puchase of this keyboard was a convenient deal, and doing what you say would cost me 120 euro more. Exactly the double.

But seriously, there is no way to have a replacement of those parts?

You know, all over the world you can find everything, but how is it possible that ITALY is so lost with random overpriced things and not even a possibility to customize them..

There must be someone that has those keycaps, they're cheap all over the internet but shipment is damn overpriced for a little sack of plastic to a common guy. Saying that, a common set would cost me 20 euro, but 40 of shipment, that's not fair.

you could try a 3rd party key cap site and see if they have anything for sale.
