pwnship
I just finished a new PC build with the iCUE 220T RGB case and H100i RGB Platinum cooler. Due to tight fitment with the available USB headers on my motherboard (EVGA Z390 Dark) only one was easily accessible. I decided to get the Commander Pro so that I could connect that to the motherboard USB header and connect the Lighting Node Core that comes with the 220T and the H100i to the Commander Pro via it's two additional USB headers as well as some additional fans. After installing the latest iCUE software it appears that both the Lightning Node Core and H100i report "Driver Error" messages in the Windows device list before disappearing completely and reappearing a few seconds later. The Lighing Node Core also disappears from the device list in iCUE and reappears every couple of seconds. I've checked all connections and updated all chipset/USB drivers but I'm still having the issue. When I uninstall iCUE the devices show up in the Windows device list without disappearing or reporting an error. There doesn't seem to be any issue with the Commander Pro in Windows or iCUE. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
pwnship
After further testing it appears that the issue is definitely with the Commander Pro. Plugging other devices into the motherboard USB 2.0 header work fine. It looks like anything that's plugged into the Commander Pro USB 2.0 hub constantly connects and then disconnects every couple of seconds. Is anyone else having this issue? lord_firefox
I have the Lighting Node Pro and Corsair H100i RGB and I have this problem where the device disconnects, you actually heard the USB disconnect sound in Windows 10 and then the lights go to the default Red like you don't have the drivers installed, the only way I can fix it is by doing a full reset of the system, restarting the iCUE software does nothing. This all started after the 3.25.60 update. It seems to only affect my H100i RGB but not my Fans or Memory so I don't think it's the lighting node pro or Hub. pwnship
After much troubleshooting I can now confirm that the problem is with the Commander Pro USB hub. I am experiencing the exact same issue as referenced in this thread https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=189344&highlight=commander+pro+usb. Hopefully Corsair comes up with a fix for this issue because it appears that it is 100% driver related.
WREKTCY
I have the corsair lighting node core which came with my case, the 220t. This problem happened to me and I did a soft reset, deleting all applications on my pc, and the problem was still there. Like you guys, I also did a lot of driver uninstalling and reinstalling in the device manager, but the problem is still here. My lighting node core doesn't show up in the icue software and continues to only stay on the hardware lighting, which I set to pink. But if quickly flashes blue and there's nothing I can do about it. In my windows 10 settings under Bluetooth and other devices, it says Corasir lighting Node Core, and under it says driver error. My ram still works fine however. Not sure how to fix it tho.
