Default Corsair 65M Pro RGB may be causing a BSOD

I occasionally get a very random BSOD (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ntoskrnl.exe) error in Windows 10, and today I decided to do something about it.

The first thing I checked was in the devise manager and sure enough I found an "Unknown Devise" listed under "Other devises". I looked up the Hardware Ids under the Properties > Details tab and its value was "root\CorsairBus". The only hardware I had associated with the PC from Corsair was the Corsair 65 Pro RGB Gaming Mouse. So, reinstalled the CUE driver (1.16.42) and the unknown devise was still listed. It wasn't until I told the devise manager to "Browse my computer for driver software" did it finally recognize the driver and updated it to the "Corsair Bus" under "System devices".

Sorry for the long winded description as to what I did, but I found the whole process kind of odd for a mouse driver install. I also noticed that the device manager has four HID-compliant mouse listings under "Mice and other pointing devices" even though this is the only "pointing device" I've ever had attached to the PC. Is there supposed to be that many listings for this one mouse?

Thanks for any input. I'm hopeful this cures my random BSOD issue.

Yes, you are supposed to have that many listings. Those are all virtual devices that handle macros, lighting, etc.

No. Clean Windows 10 install on a new SSD.
