If you're still confused, this answer is somewhat helpful:

 

The GPU node will have to connect directly you cannot use adapters...

The white 4-Pin Molex will connect to your PSU and the 2-Pin will connect to the cooling node and the 2 6+2 cables are for the Video Card (Note if you have a VIDEO card that only requires one connection I would still suggest connecting both Power leads from the PSU), and your PSU must have PCI-E cables you cannot adapt 4 Pin Molex to PCI-E.

Then once you have Corsair Link installed go to devices and high light the device and change it from a TEMP device to a POWER device then it should show the power other wise it will think it is a TEMP sensor

 

The 2 pin cable goes onto one of the "sensors" of the cooling node
