didymos1120
If CorsairService is running, my monitor will never sleep. If I exit iCue and stop the service, everything works as expected.
SinartNZ
Are you by chance using the AORUS GRAPHICS ENGINE app? if you are that is the offending app causing your monitor not to sleep its a known well documented issue with this program. Nope, not using it. I tested extensively. It's definitely CorsairService.

tweexter
I noticed this exact same thing with MSI board. If I stop the CorsairService, monitor goes to sleep just fine. Otherwise it stays on perpetually. No developments on this issue?
tweexter
Yesterday I did fresh reinstall of Win10 on my PC to try and rule out any other software. No MSI software whatsoever, no hwinfo64, no aida64, etc. Monitor still won't go to sleep if CorsairService is started.
didymos1120
This problem actually went away for me when I got a new graphics card. Not a viable solution, I know.
tweexter
Yeeeaaahhh, lol. Already rocking a 2080 Ti, about as good as it gets. Still seems bizarre to me that things go back to normal in this regard if I stop the CorsairService. What graphics card did you go from/to? I have an EVGA, and using their Precision X1 utility as well... hmm.

A Gigabyte 1080 to an EVGA 2080 Ti. Running Precision X1 too with no trouble.
tweexter
Well damn, there goes that idea. I'm at a loss as to what else could be interfering with corsair service to such an extent. I even submitted a ticket to corsair tech support last monday, haven't heard a word from them about it either.
tweexter
Any Corsair devs/techs on these forums that might be able to weigh in?
tweexter
Did a lot of trial and error and decided to fully uninstall every remnant of my Alienware headset. Apps, services, etc. Just like that, monitor is going to sleep again. Hope that may help someone else with this issue.
