Corsair Airflow Pro + Corsair H80i + Corsair Link = Me being confused

Okay so I have seen that the new Corsair H80i has Corsair Link built in and it has 2 Corsair Link ports to have more connected products so could I connect my Corsair Airflow Pro to it and have it on Corsair Link as well and of course, RAM modules will be connected to the Airflow Pro. (Corsair Dominator). Does anyone know if this is possible and what will I need ??

The H80i is not a LINK Commander unit/Dongle. It only sends H80i data and to the dashboard.

 

The two ports (USB and LINK Digital) allow users who do not have Corsair LINK to still use the dashboard with out the other nodes via USB.

An additional Corsair Link Digital connector on the pump head provides monitoring and control of other devices, such as Corsair Link equipped power supplies, Lighting Nodes, Cooling Nodes, and the Airflow Pro memory activity and temperature monitor kits.

I tried to connect the Airflow Pro to the H80i, but the pump did not start. Light was blank.

 

Maybe Ramguy can assist, as the press release said it was to be functional. I have an unconnected Corsair Link, but why should I use it on this PC if the H80 will provide what I desire.
