Default MIDI Backlighting?

I’m not a coder.

I was just wondering if anyone had explored the possibilities of controlling iCue with MIDI.

MIDI is short for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, and it’s been the standard for controlling audio hardware and software since the 70s.

It would be really cool to have LED feedback on the keyboard based off of MIDI events in the computer.

Most audio software allows you to output MIDI based off of events happening in the software (for instance, green for audio playing, red + flashing for record, etc...)

Just curious if anyone had looked into this or not. I’m sure that there would be a lot of interest if it was possible.

Thanks!
