Nintendro
Title. I have Windows 7, and the leds randomly just freeze. When I say freeze, I mean that they every 30-60 minutes just don't do anything. They stay static, regardless of me having it set to Rainbow, or Ripple. This is really annoying, and if there's no fix I'm returning my keyboard. Thank you.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted October 19, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 19, 2014 Are you getting a malfunction in the software? If so, can you describe your setup? Are you using USB 2.0 or 3.0? What motherboard do you have? Is it updated with the latest BIOS and chipset drivers? This would help a lot in helping you solve this issue. Nintendro
Yes, everything's updated. Not 100% sure on what motherboard I have in this rig. USB 2.0. Probably just returning this and picking it up at a later date when all the bugs are gone.
SmileyyFML
I have the same issue, but I am by no means returning this thing. Im using 3.0 though instead of 2.0. I always seem to notice the lockup after opening a fullscreen game after about 2-3 hours of operation.
eclark5483
I had that problem using USB 2.0, when I switched it to 3.0, problem went away.

ScarredMecha
My theory is that something is causing CUE to "lose connection" with the keyboard. I'm not sure what mechanism is used to send the commands to the keyboard, but it's possible that the command buffer is being overloaded. I experience freezing at some point when using CalcProgrammer1's Spectrograph Program and when I press all the lock keys at an impractically fast rate. I'm using the latest firmware and CUE software.
