Arazok
've been reading a bit about this and can't quite find a clear answer. I have a o11D XL and 7 Corsair QL fans. I'm using a commander pro and 2 Lighting Node cores to connect them all. I also have a EKWB CPU Block, GPU Block, Distro, and the case LED strip I would like to control in iCue, all are D-RGB, but I am unsure how to wire them. I bought 4 Corsair adapters off eBay so I can connect them. https://www.ebay.com/itm/372521827376 If I connect the 7th QL fan and all 4 of the other devices to the 2nd Lighting Node Core, will it work? Or do I need a Lighting Node Pro or even a second Commander Pro? I have read that you cannot mix device types on the Lighting Node Cores. Or can I just wire these in a different way? DevBiker
You can't mix devices and have iCUE control them accordingly. But you can mix them - it's just that you'll configure iCUE for the number of LEDs that need to be controlled. So - it'll work. That said, some effects, particularly sequential ones, may (will) be off. This video shows that a bit: [ame] [/ame].
