hceptj
I have a pair of 512mb sticks that I am running in an nForce2 mb. I just purchased an Asus A8V-Deluxe Via K8T800Pro Athlon 64(FX) Skt939 mb and a 3500+ cpu. Does anyone know if this DDR500 will run okay in this A8V mb? I could wait and try it when the mb gets here I guess. However, if someone here has any experience with this combo or knows its not compatible then I can go ahead and order two sticks of CMX512-3200C2 which is listed as approved by Asus. Thanks in advance... :):
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 13, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 13, 2004 XMS4000 will run in this MB, but this platform may not over clock to the Frequency needed to run the memory at it's tested settings! In other words, I would set the timings to Cass 3-3-3-8 at DDR400 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts and you should not have any problems!
