Willkill7
Bought a Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 and seated it on my i7 giving me a pretty cool 5ghz OC. Running in Cinebench I got numbers of around 1115 average. but AS SOON as I installed Corsair Link, it caused me to always get 1060 on average. I've also disabled Q-fan in bios so Link can have full control of fans with out issues. Also, I've noticed running straight bios with Link uninstalled, runs about the same temp as with it installed lol. This isn't a huge issue, I'm just wondering why it's causing my scores to go lower. Anyone else have this issue?
red-ray
I'm just wondering why it's causing my scores to go lower. Any monitoring program will cause the Cinebench score to drop slightly as it will be using CPU time. With CL4 this drop will be higher than many as it's poorly written and for what it does uses an excessive amount of CPU time. Use Task Manager to look at the how much CPU time CorsairLink4.Service.exe uses. I just checked what happens on my system and found as follows: 1628 with no monitoring programs active Dropped by 72 to 1556 with CL 4.5.0.55 active Dropped by 13 to 1515 with HWiNFO 5.47-3105 active Dropped by 7 to 1521 with Skype 7.32.0.104 active Dropped by 2 to 1626 with SIV 5.18 Beta-01 active :D:
