Default AF/SP Fan rubber mounts - removable?

Hi folks,

I am planning on buying Corsair fans for my Xigmatek Thor's Hammer. That cooler doesn't have a typical bracket mount system, but instead relies on rubber mount "plugs", which in turn require standard-sized holes on the fans. Since there are these rubber mount "holes" on Corsair fans, I was wondering whether the rubber inserts were removable and wheter or not the holes would thereafter have the typical size of fan mount holes.

Thanks in advance,

Lars

The rubber corners of the Corsair fans aren't removable.
