I have been getting BSoD's in Vista 64bit after about 15 - 24 hours of my system being on, and I decided since I recently Dual-Boot Installed Ubuntu, that I would run the memtest86+ that came with it, and I got errors like crazy, so i took the 2nd set out, no errors.

I got to looking around, and saw the problem with having all 4 slots Populated, and Tried changing from 800 to 667 (just on the Memory, unlinking from FSB) and no difference, still getting alot of errors in Memtest86+

I currently have only my first set installed, and here are my Mobo's "Standard" settings (Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5ghz Proc)

I don't know for sure if my 2nd set of ram is bad, but I would like some advice

on the timings/settings, etc to get my memory working correctly with this Motherboard, Chipset, and all 4 slots Populated.

Note: I do have an aftermarket Cooler on my CPU, so a slight overclock would be fine. I have never been one to dabble in overclocking, so as much

info as you can provide will be very helpful, and TIA!

Note2: I don't know for sure why my Memory timings are showing what they are, but on the RAM itself, it says 4-4-4-12 for the timings

With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
