Default SP 120 Fan Speed stuck at 1500 rpm

So i just got the Corsair Crystal 570x case and one of the fans (sp 120) was staying at 1500 rpms while the others were at around 800-1000 rpms tried changing headers and all of them kept it at that speed. also tried the performance button on the controller did not affect anything. is it just a bad fan and should i contact corsair to get it replaced or something that could be fixed?

Default

If you moved it to different control header points (for the fan power, not lighting) and it is still maxed out at 100%, I would contact Corsair and request a replacement. My guess is there is a problem with the speed pin or wire, but you don't need to be that specific in your RMA request.
