Default H80I V2 proper isntallation for efficient cooling

hello! i want to install the h80i v2 to my case (corsair 600c) and i want to ask if i can isntall it at the rear of the my case with a push and pull configuration (first fan intake air towards the radiator and the second fan exaust the air out of the case) despite the fact that the manual suggests both the fans to push air towards the radiator ! my cpu is an i7 8700k

The fans should definitely be in push/pull configuration. I looked at the quick install guide and don't see anything where they suggest that both fans push air towards the radiator. It does suggest "intake" ... but that's case intake (bringing air in from outside the case). Did you mis-read that?

thanks for your reply! my mistake then! i thought it meant both fans as an intake...then ok i will install it as a push /pull configuration... do you think its best to keep the pre-applied paste or use an arctic silver 5 ?

Use the pre-applied stuff on the first go. It is already there and spreads easily. If you want to your own little TIM test later you can, with data from the first. Chasing CPU reductions with TIM brand is usually fruitless. Save the aftermarket stuff for the next time you need to take it down.
