mrshrir
So I have 9 ll fans connected to the pro , 6with splitters , 3 individually . I understand that the pro can provide a total of 4.5 amps LL FANS draw 0.3amps , so that’s a total power draw of 2.7amps. Now my question is , can I connect a gpu aio pump to the commander pro , I would like to set a fan curve for it and set it to 3pin (DC MODE) rather than it being connected to the motherboard . A mobo header allows 1 amp draw , so the pump isn’t using more than 1 amp (correct me if I’m wrong) So theoretically the whole max draw from the commander should be no more than 3.7amps Is the commander pro powerful enough to run 9 fans and an aio pump? DevBiker
Possibly but I wouldn't risk it, personally. We've seen CoPro fan headers die with only 3 fans.
Zotty
i agree with DevBiker, not worth the risk. i have personally ran 9 fans off of a copro. but these days i wouldnt go over 8 in total... ultimately its a 6 port fan controller designed for 6 fans with individual control of said 6 fans.. any more than that is outside spec and indeed at your own risk..
