Can anyone verify the genuineness of this Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro

So I just bought this pair of 16gb 3200mhz cl16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ram. Everything looked good and genuine but I noticed that the Cas Latency of the rams are 16-20-20-38. I searched on Corsair website and various review sites, they all stated that the 32gb (2x16gb) variant has Cas latency of 16-18-18-36. The website where i buy it from also lists it as 16-18-18-36.

So is this a real Corsair RAM? If it does exist and genuine, Does it make any difference? Should i be worried and get a replacement since I still have 7 days to ask for a replacement or a refund?

I am still learning about all the different computer specs so take it easy on me ^_^.

Yeah, I’ve never seen that specific timing set either and it does strike me as unusual. However, no reason to jump to conclusions yet. You’re going to need someone from Corsair to check the serial numbers for you, but it otherwise looks genuine. I do think if the vendor listed 16-18-36, then that is what you should have received. This kit should cost less than an otherwise identical 16-18-36 package.

They are genuine. Yours are the CMW32GX4M3E3200C16 which are spec'd for 16-20-20-38.

The kit that is spec's for 16-18-18-36 is CMW32GX4M2C3200c16. You got a cheaper version using memory chips that did not pass the tighter timings or use a different brand memory chip than the C3200C16 kit.
