I thought I would back up my profile, but when I opened the .xml is didn't seem to contain any info about my custom fans. Where are the custom fan profiles stored? Any problems I have had I have been able to fix by leaving my rig UNPLUGGED overnight and unplugged from the USB header. You may try (if you can) to re flash the firmware. Good luck.
