Jeremy1998
I'm a little confused as to how this all works. I am running 4 sticks of Dominator ram (specs on my profile), and I want to get the Corsair Link system. Do your ram sticks directly connect to the Link module, or does it go some other way? Basically, I'm asking how the Corsair Link, and Corsair Dominator interface with each other. Thanks.
Manannin
I was going to post and tell you that you needed the Air Flow Pro as that is what connects to Link, not the Ram itself... buuuut then I checked and saw these bad boys: http://www.corsair.com/en/memory-by-product-family/dominator-platinum-ddr3-memory/dominator-platinum-with-corsair-link-connector-1-65v-16-gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmd16gx3m4a2666c10.html It looks as if each stick has a Link connector on it. But the description still mentions using an Air Flow Pro... Hey Ram Guy, there is a ram based question for you, do your thing :hihi:

I'm not using those exact ones, but they do have the same connector. Mine came with a normal Airflow fan. I don't know if I'm gonna use it or not, but either way, it doesn't connect to the ram... Jeremy1998
Also, if anyone knows how the AX1200i will connect to the Corsair Link, I would like to know that as well.

Wired
Look at the pic, top most port.
Jeremy1998
Look at the pic, top most port. I know that. But normally, a com port is a serial port. So, that will come with an adapter that plugs it into the link commander?
Wired
Yes, there will be a cable that connects the PSU to the Link. IIRC you can see part of it in some of the videos.
Jeremy1998
So... I get the AX-1200i, and I get the Airflow Pro, and I can hook it all up to the link? And then I would have 6 remaining ports for connecting light, and fan modules, correct?
Toasted
The AirFlow Pros are connected to the RAM modules. The Corsair Link Commander has a total of 8 connectors to plug the Cooling Node, Lighting Node, Hydro Series Coolers and future products that support Corsair Link. The Cooling Node has 5 fan connectors, 4 sensor connectors and a slot to connect it to the Commander. The Lightning Node has 3 connectors, 1 to the Commander, and 2 L.E.D channels. Each channel can have up to 33 L.E.D strips. When you have the Ax1200i installed, Cooling Node installed, Lightning Node installed. You will have 5 remaining ports left on the Commander.
