Bugcheck and fatal hardware error with the new PC build

Dear community. Before I buy a new memory kit I would like to hear your opinion on issues that I have with my new PC build.

The new PC build specs:

Asus Prime Z490-P MBO

Intel Core i5-10600 CPU - On Asus QVL list

Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16 GB kit(2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz PC4-28800 CL18, 1.2V / 1.35V, CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 - NOT on Asus QVL list

SSD Crucial P1 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD

Corsair 650W PSU - RM650 Fully modular

MSI Armor RX570 graphic card

Since I have bought a new PC configuration I had 4 BUGCHECK errors where Windows froze and have restarted after a couple of seconds. As you can see this is happening randomly and can't find the cause of it, although I suspect at BIOS, Chipset drivers, or memory. Please check the attached picture from BlueScreenview.

After the last Bugcheck and restart I have noticed there's new version of BIOS available for the Asus Prime Z490-P motherboard so I have installed it (v1208).

Even though it's almost a week from the last bugcheck I can't say that this issue is yet solved with the latest bios update, but I had another similar issue after that update.

A couple of days ago I was working on my external Toshiba USB drive and after about 30 minutes of work, the computer froze and have restarted after 30-40 seconds.

After this crash, a dump was not saved and I could only check for the system log that said:WHEA-Logger: A fatal hardware error has occurred. (Please check the attached picture). I'm not sure if that's the cause of the crash since this log was created after the PC booted up again and the external disk was still plugged in. Also, I couldn't find any detailed information about this event.

I am also using the XMP profile set in BIOS for the memory specified above

I am using the latest available chipset drivers from the Asus website.

I have also contacted ASUS and Corsair support where Asus pointed me to use the memory kit from the QVL list in order to get help and Corsair support said I should test both memory sticks individually with Memtest.

After the first bugcheck I have tested both sticks with 4 passes (default-test) and while I had the XMP profile set in BIOS. Everything went without a single error.

I haven't had these issues in my pc configurations for as long as I can remember.

Just to mention I am working in the IT industry I am always using Asus MBO, Corsair memory, Corsair PSU, and Intel CPU's for my PC configurations and I firmly stick to this combo.

I would kindly ask you for help and advice and if you need any more information please let me know and I will update this post.

As a last resort I would probably have to buy this memory as it is listed on Asus QVL list for my MBO: DDR4 16GB (2x8) Corsair 3200MHz LPX Black CMK16GX4M2B3200C16

I also presume that I shouldn't notice any performance drops from switching to 3200MHz memory with lower latency.

thanks for your reply. Well, I will follow your advice since Asus support doesn't want to help considering I am not using memory from its QVL. They advise I should replace the memory with the one on the Asus QVL for that Motherboard.

Also, I have just received an answer from Corsair support stating that the memory is probably fine since I've managed to perform 4 passes with Memtest and with XMP enabled.

Judging by the attached screenshot of the dump do you think the problem could be related to memory or a fault driver?

So, what does this mean? Will I be able to replace the memory if your 2 suggestions won't work? If the problem really lies in memory kit, I'd rather exhange it with you online considering I'll wait for ages until I get a replacement from the local hardware store where I have bought it.

I would also like to mention that this is my new work PC that is used for Home Office due to Covid-19 crisis. It's rather frustrating when the joy of having a new machine is being supressed with the stress caused by random freezes.

I have made two memtests with 4 passes and with XMP profile enabled in BIOS and both times memory tests were without errors.

Since the BIOS update I had only one freeze but it was different that first 4 bugcheck freezes. Anyway, Asus support still doesn't want to help until I buy the memory from the QVL for that board.

Anyway I'm considering to buy the memory from the ASUS QVL for my board Asus Prime Z-490P which is:

My question is is there any difference between these two RAM modules except from the speed and latency, but I presume I wouldn't tell the difference. And should I sell the 3600mhz memory and buy the 3200mhz so I can get the support from Asus?

What's even more strange is that after the bios update almost a month ago I had only one freeze during work and I'm in a home office and occasionally playing games on this PC so its on for at least 10-12 hours per day.

I've just discovered another nonsense from Asus. I might buy the new memory kit that is supported like CMK16GX4M2B3200C16, but Asus supports only Ver4.24 of that kit, if I get 5.x that's not on the list ffs.

I still have bugcheck issues, even after I have upgraded to the latest Windows 10 20H2 version, I have also updated BIOS for my Asus Prime Z490-P Motherboard but without luck.

I have recently got 2 freezes in a day, but also have a running PC (using standby mode once I don't use it) for 20+ days without restarts.

The dump always shows the same error that points to memory even though I seriously doubt these are faulty sticks as memtest shows no errors, but since this is my Home Office PC it is very frustrating I kindly ask for help and advice on what to do.

ola, estou com o mesmo problema, porem com o resultado DMP pude ver que estou com problema aparentemente de fonte, INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR, estou fazendo todos os testes e sempre esta 100% estavel, um erro muito aleatorio
