be1163
Hello, I know nothing about computers so any help I appreciate. When i bought my computer it came with the following: Asus A8V-VM Mother Board Athlon 64X2 Memory: DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHZ 512MB 240pinn DIMM & DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHZ 512MB When i check on Corsair's site they recommend using 400MHZ Ram. Is this an issue I should be worried about? I'm currently having issues with Video editing programs craching when ever I start to edit movies. Also the computer seems to be slow. Thanks in advance for replies.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 10, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 10, 2007 The MB ASUS A8V-VM is a DDR1 only MB, so yes that might suggest the model number is not correct for that MB or system.
