I Downloaded my Chipset (X570) Drivers from www.AMD.com "Drivers & Support"
Dose any MB manufacture even make own drivers for AMD Chipsets?
I didnt find any Chipset drivers for my MB so thats why i did download them from AMD site...

EDIT: Yes there is "AMD all in 1 with VGA driver ver:19.10.16_19H1_WHQL" But those are uploaded in June. So that could be even older then, the one in cd that come with the MB.

EDIT2: Still going strong thistime test runned on 66% full drive

The drivers from AMD should all be the same. I have a bunch of X570 boards here at HQ (including a Crosshair Hero VIII), so I'm going to run my MP600s through their paces on each one to see which boards aren't playing nicely.

Thank you for posting your results!

I have run it a few more times over the past day, and they're all the same under-performance on the write speeds.

I know my way around this board fairly well, and would be happy to help any way I can.
Sorry for the delay. It's really strange to observe your sequential write speeds are on par for what we determined, but the 4k randoms aren't. Additionally, I'm tracking the issue on a spreadsheet I made and this particular board has a 5:1 ratio for people experiencing issues. What BIOS version are you on? Thank you for all the info, btw.

To everyone who is encountering these issues with reduced performance, please provide the following via PM:

Motherboard:
CPU:
Memory brand:
Memory model:
Memory capacity:
Memory speed:
BIOS Version:
Windows Build and Version:
MP600 capacity:
MP600 serial number (a photo of the sticker would be great):
MP600 Firmware Version:
Using drive as OS or storage?
Which M.2 slot?
Stock heatsink on MP600?
If no, what are you using for a heatsink?

Also, if you're no longer experiencing issues because you've made some changes from your initial tests, please share what changes you've made.

Also I have theory about problem.
Recently watched der8auer
about pcie4 ssd and were was MP600 on video 10.10 minute was slide about thermal throttling of drives and corsair on 70 Celsius is throttling at write speed of 1080 like almost we all have but if it was thermal problem our read speed also would throttle down to 2378 so i looked at temperature of drive when i benching it it stays below 50 Celsius degree. So my theory is that sensor in drive is bad and it throttling down write speed. Just theory.

That's completely possible, honestly. I know it's frustrating, but I'm doing what I can to pinpoint the issue, and with this official tracker that I've created, we can collect the data and move forward with the best course of action.

Rimc, can you PM the serial number and other info from the box and/or the underside of the MP600? Thank you!

Thank you. I forgot to add the M.2 slot in my tracker.

The strange thing is when I first installed the OS I ran CDM and got almost matching reads and writes. I've been stalking this thread for a while, I hope there's a fix soon.
BTW: on a Gigabyte x570 master so its not just an Asus bios issue.
Hi Aricee, can you change the tests on CDM to match the others?

Seq Q32T1
4KiB Q8T8
4KiB Q32T1
4KiB Q1T1

I just want to limit variables in everyone's test conditions.

I was thinking that too when i did see that video thanks for remainder.
Today i did 2 runs and the secend one is after usage and your remainder.
So i set up HWinfo to show the temps.
And what you know it looks like as the write section is after the read it heats up the drive and atleast this time my results get lower.

Orginal heatsink of MP600
Litlle under EVGA GTX 1080 non spinning fan GPU
on straigth front intake airflow bath of Corsair Sp120 Chassis 2 or 3 in the HWinfo log.
Same 1.60 BIOS like last time as haven have time to instal new one and Jayz two cents last video update of bad BIOS update of ABBA so yeah.

EDIT: Yes eather temps activate some self protection on this drive or rerun of the CDMtest dose some weird specialy on allmost fulöl drive(trim, self cleaning,---).
Or its the Chipset that gets hoter and panicy--- Eather way they are next each other and this MB is so limited run that i dont think i get help from EK to do me full water block on this MB.
So are you Corsair doing NVMe drive WB? .. I migth be intrested to install one ;)
Here is added run on colder pc (pic3) and the result ar back normal.
ten after sum runs weard result are back (pic 4).
Final run 10(of repeat runs) with added ATTO results (pic5).

EDIT 2: over night i have bean done work to this drive like you can see on the allmost used place this time temps are just after test as i forget to make it run before...
But then again Chipset is getting little warm on (pic6).

EDIT3: Oops! Allso wrong drive listed on the Corsair tool in the pic6 sorry!

I just came across this post when I finally decided to check how my drives are doing.

I am experiencing these drastically reduced write speeds on my OS drive that is only 27% filled.

I have two of these 1tb MP600's and the one with my games on it that is 67% filled does not have the write problems.

Now I just can't remember which drive is on what M.2 Slot. Is there a way to find out without removing one drive?

I have an MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi. I have one of the MP600's in the top slot and one in the bottom.

I also don't remember which slot has direct access to the cpu instead of the controller. So i'm guessing this might be the issue. The question is which one is slow. I'll have to find out which slot is which to figure that out.

Edit: m2_1 is the top slot and has access to the cpu. m2_2 is the bottom slot and goes to the chipset. I intended to install the OS on the m2_1 to the cpu. I was lazy though and had both drives installed and just installed the OS on one of the drives. Anyone know a way to check?

Edit2: I'm on the latest chipset drivers for the x570: amd_chipset_drivers_v1.8.19.0915
I'm on the 7B93v11 Bios from 7/02/19. I've been holding off on the ABBA bios update since things have been running fine. (Except this Corsair MP600)

I have been reading around with others with this same issue and different PCIE4 NVME drives. One claiming those chipset drivers fixed it. Some saying it doesn't.

I tried my ssd on Z390 motherboard with i9-9900K processor and it was same **** (I didn't get 5000MB/s read) but the write speed was capped (1000MB/s)
so definitely it's not motherboard nor the chipset IT"S THE SSD AND CORSAIR still refusing to say it!

Try running Atto Disk Benchmark 4.01 and see what you get... I've noticed a lot of fluctuations in speeds and atto shows it clearly.
