nibbly
Brand new install today and all connected up as it should be. Temps are good in idle and under load. I have no issues with bubbles/clicking. My pump seems loud and changes pitch dependant on what speed it's run at. Even from 10 meters away I can hear it! This can't be normal? I used to have an H100i V2 and that was MUCH quieter (virtually silent except for the rad fans which were turbines). Should I return the new AIO? nibbly
Upon further investigation, it appears that pump high speed vibration is turning my motherboard into a large speaker. If I detach pump from motherboard, its quieter. You can clearly feels the soothing constant vibration of the pump in you hand???
c-attack
The motherboard can dampen the vibrations or amplify them like a drum. It’s hard to say as it’s both motherboard, case, and pump specific. However, I don’t think you should put up with the noise and would try a replacement first.
