Then I read a lot in forums and try with many solution 1-Update my bios- http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT70-0NC.html#/?div=BIOS http://s5.postimage.org/sg1hutshf/BIOS_Update_Info.jpg E1762IMS.10M.zip 2-Set my bios in AHCI mode http://s5.postimage.org/6jo5lxu2b/Enable_AHCI.jpg 2-Check my SSD and is update Corsair firmware 5.03 http://s5.postimage.org/5wp8wex6b/IRST_Firmware_update.jpg 3-Using DISKPART in cmd • Diskpart • List disk • Select disk 0 • Clean • Create partition primary align=1024 • Format fs=ntfs quick label=”Win7” • Active • Exit • Bootrec /fixmbr • Bootrec/fixboot • Bootrec /rescanos http://s5.postimage.org/qagdrt3sj/Diskpart1.jpg http://s5.postimage.org/6v5lypaib/Diskpart2.jpg 4-Install SATA AHCI controller using load drivers during win7 install http://s5.postimage.org/4667uxfn7/Load_AHCI_controller_win7.jpg Then try installing SATA AHCI controller and HM77 Chipset controller and USB 3.0 controller. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 5, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 5, 2012 Please use Parted Magic and secure erase the SSD in the S-ATA 6 port port is and then run make sure the BIOS is set to AHCI and run the instal again of Windows 7; do not use Disk part to format the SSD. Just let Widows 7 do a format it will detect it is an SSD automatically align the partition with a Quick format only (Default).

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 6, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 6, 2012 The secure erase in Parted Magic may not work well. If the system is not stable. And I would speak with the Mother Board manufacturer about this issue. If the drive is the issue then it would happen on any port.
Yellowbeard
Remove all the other drives from the system, clear the BIOS and try the SSD again on the SATA 3 port.

IvanEspinoza
This is true? http://s5.postimage.org/5tev0hkkz/Bios_msi.jpg Because I'm really thinking in return my corsair ssd :(: and buy a expensive 520 Intel SSD
Yellowbeard
Buying the Intel drive won't solve it. Intel 520 drives have SandForce controllers inside also. Remove all the other drives from the system, clear the BIOS and try the SSD again on the SATA 3 port. ^^^^Did you try this yet?^^^^

Toasted
If you have another computer, Plug the SSD into a SATA port with AHCI enabled and install Windows from it. If it fails to install, It may be a faulty SSD. If it successfully installs, plug it back into the laptop and see if it works. Remember to secure erase the drive before installing Windows. I installed win7 in the second bay sata2 3g/s and all work perfectly but when i swap to sata 4 6g/s port, win7 fails at start sometimes say Disk read error, sometimes black window, sometimes starting window and then black windows. And the sata3 6g/s port is working because i put a old hdd install win7 in the other bay and i can see the hhd. I don't know what is the problem but i think is the compatibility between msi bios or intel drivers
Toasted
Its probably a compatibility issue with the chipset and the drive.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 14, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 14, 2012 At this point, I would recommend to return the drive to re-seller for an exchange with different drive that using different controller such as Neutron GT/GTX. You've try enough things which led us to believe that this is most likely caused by compatibility issue.
